Where is it located, can I feel it?

Unlike general misconception you cannot feel it. It is an area below the skin and is located 2 cm inside the vagina.

What is ‘G’ Shot?

Injection of Platelet Rich Plasma to the ‘G’ Spot is called ‘G’ Shot.

How Does it Work?

G Spot is an erogenous zone of 1.5 to 2 cm in the vagina, upon stimulation this area enlarges and suppose to play a role in Orgasm.

Sexual function

Sexual function has 4 components, desire, arousal, lubrication and orgasm. Current treatments include psychotherapy or testosterone (unlicensed use) which does
not address all components of sexual function. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections to the clitoris and to the vagina has proven to be beneficial in studies to improve all 4 components of sexual function.

Platelet rich plasma works in many different ways, studies have shown an increase in the pluripotent stem cells resulting in rejuvenation and increase in growth factors liberated from PRP that enhance blood supply and nerve growth. It is also said to relieve coital discomfort due to collagen remodelling and nerve growth.

Is it painful?

It is an entirely painless procedure as the injection is given in the vagina, an area that is relatively pain insensitive.

Are there any risks?

There are no risks to the PRP as it is from your own blood. Some patient occasionally can get flu like symptoms after PRP injection. However, this is very rare.

How Many do I need and How long will it work?

The recommended dose is 2 injections 4-6 weeks apart and studies show that it might last for up to a year. Most women will need maintenance on a yearly basis.

Is there any down time?

We advise avoiding baths or having sex for 48 hours mainly to prevent infection.

How will I feel after I have the procedure?

You shouldn’t feel any different after the procedure and should be able to carry on your day to day activities as normal.
